Galarian Mr. Mime; the Dancing Pokémon and its Evolution, Galarian Mr. Rime will soon be coming to Pokémon GO in a ticketed Special Research story event.

Next year marks both Pokémon’s 25th Anniversary and Pokémon GO’s 5th Anniversary. To celebrate Niantic has announced a virtual, ticketed event that Trainers all around the globe will be able to take part in on February 20th.

To celebrate the announcement of Pokémon The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle , Niantic has announced a special event in Pokémon GO. Beginning on December 14th, Jessie and James will be returning to Pokémon GO, and you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Celebi by completing limited-time Special Research.

Niantic teased yesterday on Twitter with the Tweet Level 40 Cap? and today revealed their official plans. Their new initiative is called GO Beyond, and beginning the week of November 30th players can experience new aspects of the game.

Niantic has announced the November Community Day for Pokémon GO. A third Special Weekend has been announced for Pokémon GO. Previously announced were the 7-Eleven Event in Mexico and the Grubhub Event in the US. Now Verizon Wireless is having a Special Weekend of their own. Trainers will soon enjoy enhanced gameplay features (such as Verizon Sponsored PokéStops, Sponsored Gyms, and Sponsored Gifts) .

Earlier this week Niantic teased Galarian Yamask for Halloween 2020. Today they have officially announced the full details of the event. Galarian Yamask will make its Pokémon GO debut in new Halloween-themed Special Research, and completing Field Research tasks may lead to an encounter with Spiritomb (including shiny). New Raids and avatar items will also be added. In addition don't forget about the Catch Mastery: Ghost Day and the Halloween Cup . The event will run from October 23rd until November 3rd. Niantic has been teasing for the past 24 hours of a new Red Egg that would be appearing in Pokemon GO. Today they have officially announced the new Strange Eggs being added and will contain Poison-type, Dark-type, and Pokémon that can be one of these types via Evolution including Larvitar, Scraggy, Trubbish, Vullaby, Sandile, Pawniard, Deino and more. In addition a Strange Eggs Event will be running from October 12th until October 19th.

The Pokémon GO Limited Research Day focuses on the Pokémon Meowth in all three regional variations, Kantonian, Alolan and Galarian. The Field Research and Timed Research will be available on October 10th. Catch Meowth and complete the Research to obtain candies to evolve into Persian, Alolan Persian, and Galarian Perrserker.
