Portal Games announced the 51st State Ultimate Edition is coming soon to Gamefound and will included new content with the crowdfunding campaign The campaign launches in February 2022 with component upgrades, reprints of hard-to-find content, and a new expansion, No Man’s Land, designed by Ignacy Trzewiczek. 51st State was originally published in 2010, and was a breakout success for Portal Games. Set in the same universe as the fan favorite Neuroshima Hex , 51st State offered players a new way to fight for resources in the wastelands of America. The release of the 51st State Master Set in 2016 brought together the core game and both the original expansions, Winter and New Era in one box with an all-new look and improved gameplay. Three additional expansions have since been released for the Master Set, growing the line to a fan favorite. Pokémon GO: Johto Region Event


In preparation for the upcoming Kanto Tour, Niantic has announced the Johto Region Event starting January 26th and running until January 31st.

Features

  • Wild Pokémon: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Mareep, Hoppip, Aipom, Sunkern, Yanma, Murkrow, Gligar, Snubbull, Slugma, and Miltank (including shiny).
  • 5 km Eggs: Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Wooper, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Togepi (unannounced) and Larvitar.
  • Field Research: reward Stardust and encounters with Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Chinchou, Mareep, Sudowoodo, and Miltank.
  • Raids:
    • 1 Star: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Mareep, Marill, and Larvitar
    • 3 Star: Togetic, Espeon, Umbreon, Skarmory, and Miltank 
    • 5 Star: Entei, Raikou, and Suicune
      • Entei: January 26th
      • Raikou: January 31st
      • Suicune: February 4th
  • Evolve the following Pokémon during the event, their Evolution will know an exclusive attack.
    • Evolve Bayleef to get a Meganium that knows Frenzy Plant.
    • Evolve Quilava to get a Typhlosion that knows Blast Burn.
    • Evolve Flaaffy to get an Ampharos that knows Dragon Pulse.
    • Evolve Pupitar to get a Tyranitar that knows Smack Down.

Task 1

  • Catch 15 Dark-type Pokémon: Great Ball x5
  • Catch 15 Shadow Pokémon: Revive x5
  • Defeat a Team Go Rocket Leader three times: Larvitar Encounter

Collection Challenge

Complete the Johto-themed Collection Challenge during the event by collecting Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Sudowoodo, Sunkern, Murkrow, Smeargle, Miltank, and Larvitar to receive 15 Poké Balls, 10 Ultra Balls, and an Incense.
