CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon GO: Hoenn Region Event


In preparation for the upcoming Kanto Tour, Niantic has announced the Hoenn Region Event starting January 19th and running until January 24th.

Features

  • Wild Pokémon: Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Taillow, Loudred, Nosepass, Aron (including shiny), Meditite, Roselia, Carvanha, Numel, Baltoy, and more.
  • 5 km Eggs: Skitty, Aron, Corphish, Lileep, Anorith, Bagon, and Beldum.
  • Field Research: rewards Stardust and encounters with Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Aron, Plusle, Minun, and Wailmer.
  • Raids:
    • 1 Star: Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Ralts, Aron, and Bagon
    • 3 Star: LBreloom, Mawile, Grumpig, Spinda, and Absol
    • 5 Star: Kyogre and Groudon

  • Completion Reward: Rayquaza (including shiny w/ Charged Attack Hurricane), 3,000 XP, Silver Pinap Berry

Collection Challenge

Complete the Hoenn-themed Collection Challenge during the event by collecting Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Nincada, Nosepass, Aron, Plusle, Minun, and Bagon to receive three Silver Pinap Berries, XP, and an Incense.
