X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST - Official "Opening Battle" MTV Clip

Last night was the MTV Movie Awards and during the show, an exclusive clip was shown for X-Men: Days of Future Past was played. I'm excited for this movie and this teaser makes me ecstatic. The clip we believe is from the future timeline, hence why the sentinels look different than prior previews . Check it out the clip below.

X-Men: Days of Future Past - Official Trailer 2 [HD] - 20th Century FOX

If I haven't ever mentioned it the X-Titles are my favorite comics, and the reason I started reading in the first place. So my excitement for the upcoming movie goes without question. Fox has released a second trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past has been released and gives more insight on what the movie's premise is going to be about. Based of the story arc of the same name, it pits the future X-Men against the past, in order to save it. Beast vs. Magneto in Days of Future Past

It looks like FanGirl.org is on the ball this week for Marvel movies. Earlier this week I posted a few images from Amazing Spider-Man 2 , today Spinoff at Comic Book Resources has posted several images of Beast and Magneto fighting in what appears to be a fountain. I'm not sure what to think about this version of the Beast it seems like the makeup department has gotten lazy. I hope this isn't signs of things to come, or maybe they plan to CGI his appearance. Fox Casts Quicksilver for Days of Future Past

So it appears that Fox is upset about the possibility of any mutant appearing in a non-Fox licensed film. It was announced yesterday via Twitter that Evan Peters will be playing the mutant in the upcoming X-Men Days of Future Past . What this means for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch for Avengers 2 is unknown. I know that due to licensing Fox owned the rights to the "mutants" but if Marvel/Disney had used them first without reference to the X-Gene then they would just be considered Supers in the Avengers. My personal opinion is Fox knows how popular the characters are and feel that they should get the $$ from them. You can read more on Yahoo! Movie Talk .

X-Men: Days of Future Past Teaser Images

Here are a couple preview images from X-Men: Days of Future Past tweeted by Bryan Singer. It appears as though part of the movie will be set in 1973. Things are looking good for the new movie, my hope though is they don't over-due it with stars. They announce another mutant to the roster it seems like every week. My hope personally is most of them will have 1-2 lines or less and mainly be background characters.
