CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon TCG: Trainer Collections and Shiny Crobat V Collection

Four new products have been revealed for the Pokémon TCG for the Japanese market. The official Pokémon Japan Twitter account announced three new Trainer Collections featuring Marnie, Hop, and Bede, and a Shiny Crobat V Box.

Trainer Collections

The Trainer Collections contain a promo card featuring the trainer, 4 expansion packs (Infinity Zone, Astonishing Volt Tackle, Explosive Walker, Legendary Heartbeat), a card file to store 80 cards and a collector's guide. The Trainer Collections are 1,980 yen ($19 USD) and will release on November 20th. Japanese customers can preorder from the Pokémon Center website, and International customer can order from Amazon Japan.

Shiny Crobat V Box

The Shiny Crobat V Box will contain a Corbat V, Hiding Dark Energy and Basic Dark Energy promo cards, 6 Shiny Star V expansion packs, and a card box. The Crobat V Collection is 4,180 yen ($42 USD) and will release on December 25th. Japanese customers can preorder from the Pokémon Center website, and International customer can order from Amazon Japan.
