For anyone that watched my Heroes Unboxing you'll know that I redeem points for Disney Movie Rewards . You get points form Disney and now Marvel movies. Some of the stuff isn't really for me but I did redeem them for a Funko Pop! Bobblehead Groot. Today I did however get an email talking about the new Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD, so I figured I'd post the info from the email for everyone to enjoy.

Details on Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man Season 3: Web Warriors

Marvel announced today some news about the next season of Ultimate Spider-Man now named Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors. It seems the every Spider-Man that is hitting the 616 in Spider-Verse is also going to show-up in the animated series, with Miles Morales, Iron Spider, Agent Venom, and more. I've really enjoyed the series and season 2 seemed to find it's footing. One announcement that I'm looking forward to is the fact that Marvel appears to be creating a single universe with it's animated series with the Spider-Man joining the Avengers which from the article have the same group makeup as Avengers Assemble. So maybe we might even get mention in Agents of S.M.A.S.H. that this is the same Hulk too. You can read the full press release below.

Star Wars Rebels: WonderCon 2014 Exclusive Clip

Last year it was announced that Disney XD and Lucusfilm Animation would be releasing a new series that takes place between Episodes III and IV. We also got a nice sneak peak at some of the shows designs. This week at Wondercon we got another look at the show. The clip features Hera and Chopper fighting off some Imperials. Fans at Star Wars Celebration Europe in Essen, Germany, on Saturday received a taste of what's to come in Star Wars Rebels, a new animated series due next year that takes place before the events of the original Star Wars film.

The trailer for Disney XD's Hulk Agents of S.M.A.S.H. has been released and you can watch it below. The new series is set to premiere Sunday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. ET/PT on Disney XD along with Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.

Star Wars Rebels Announced for Disney XD

Announced this morning, Star Wars Rebels will be an all-new animated television series premiering in Fall 2014. The one-hour premiere will air on Disney Channel and followed by a series on Disney XD . Involved in the series are Simon Kinberg ( X-Men: First Class ), Dave Filoni as an executive producer ( Star Wars: The Clone Wars ) Greg Weisman ( Young Justice , The Spectacular Spider-Man ). The show is going to be set in between the events of Episode III and IV , when the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights and a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape. Star Wars Rebels will be produced by Lucasfilm Animation and include many of those involved with Star Wars: The Clone Wars. No information on whether it will be animated or CG or who will be part of the cast.
