Wacky Wizard Games Imprint and Three New Games Announced by @wwizardgames

Wise Wizard Games announced the launch of Wacky Wizard Games, a new brand imprint focused on family-friendly, lightweight games. Three games are planned for release in 2024 as part of this new brand imprint: Star Realms Academy, Caution Signs, and Pack the Essentials. If you are interested and attending PAX Unplugged they will have prototypes of Caution Signs and Pack the Essentials. "We are super excited to be adding this new family friendly product line to our catalog. We wanted to maintain the focus of Wise Wizard Games on strategy card and dice games with geeky themes, and have created Wacky Wizard Games as an umbrella for lightweight games with a more whimsical, cute vibe," shared Debbie Moynihan, COO of Wise Wizard Games. Star Realms Academy Forge your own star realms, overloaded with cuteness! A kid friendly but still fun for grown-ups version of the popular Star Realms deckbuilding game for 2 players. A little less math, no reading necessary, but still tons of fun!

Pokémon Masters EX: Legendary Arena Regirock

Regirock Pokemon Masters

DeNA has revealed on their official Twitter that the next Legendary Arena will feature Regirock. Regirock will be available in Pokémon Masters EX on December 7th. The article will be updated once more information is made available.

Strategy

The following special parameters will be applied in the battle against Regirock;

  • Whenever an ally or opponent receives a critical hit, their Defense is lowered.
    • The opponent negates any stat decreases.

Increase your critical-hit rate with Dire Hit All and Dire Hit +, or use Moves that ensure the net attack is a critical hit to land one on Regirock and lower its Defense.

HP Bar 1

  • Your opponent is weak against Grass-type Moves, so use them to deal damage
  • To make the most of the special parameter that decreases Defense with every critical hit, bring Gardenia & Roserade or Brendan & Treeko to use Dire Hit + and raise your critical-hit rate
  • Your opponent can also decrease your Defense with critical hits, so bring Dawn & Turtwig or Roxanne & Nosepass to use X Defense All to bolster your Defense
  • When Regirock's HP drops to half or lower, Iron Defense raises its Defense and blocks critical hits from affecting its field of play
  • Use Leaf & Eevee's Potion to stall for time while you wait for the Critical-Hit Defense to run out, then unleash a critical hit when the time is right

Recommended Sync Pairs Option 1

  1. Sygna Suit Elsa & Rotom
  2. Dawn & Turtwig
  3. Gardenia & Roserade

Recommended Sync Pairs Option 2

    1. Leaf & Eevee
    2. Roxanne & Nosepass
    3. Brendan & Treeko

    HP Bar 2

    • Your opponent is now weak against Steel-type attacks
    • Respond to poerful physical attacks with X Defense All or Reflect
    • Bring Lisia & Alteria and use Defog to remove Critical-Hit Defense and aim for a critical hit on your opponent

    Recommended Sync Pairs Option 1

    1. Maylene & Meditite
    2. Lisia & Altaria
    3. Player Character & Solgaleo

    Recommended Sync Pairs Option 2

      1. Sabrina & Alakazam
      2. Jasmine & Steelix
      3. Steven & Metagross

      HP Bar 3

      • Regirock's weakness is Steel-type, the same as HP Bar 2
      • Every time Regirock makes one of your allies faint, its next attack is assure to be a critical hit
      • Take the attack with Phoebe & Dusclops or Wikstrom & Aegislah, who have the Passive Skill Vigilance
      • Negate strong Moves like Hyper Beam and Hammer Arm with Wikstrom & Aegislash's King's Shield
      • Dragging the battle out will put you at a disadvantage, so use powerful attacks and clinch the win with Gloria & Zacian

      Recommended Sync Pairs Option 1

      1. Phoebe & Dusknoir
      2. Wikstrom & Aegislash
      3. Gloria & Zacian

      Original Tweet

"Both allies and opponents lose their defense each time the attack hits their key point. Since the opponent's defense can only be reduced by a sneak attack, use techniques such as "Dire Hit All"!

The weak points this time are "grass" and "steel"!"
