Pokémon GO: Unova Region Event


In preparation for the upcoming Kanto Tour, Niantic has announced the Unova Region Event starting January 5th and running until January 10th.

Features

  • Wild Pokémon: Snivy (including shiny), Tepig, Oshawott, Lillipup, Herdier, Blitzle, Roggenrola, Drilbur, Scraggy, Tympole, Venipede, Trubbish, Gothita, Solosis, and Ferroseed.
  • 5 km Eggs: Roggenrola, Sewaddle, Petilil, Emolga, Karrablast, Joltik, Elgyem, and Shelmet.
  • Field Research: reward Stardust and encounters with Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and Ferroseed.
  • Raids:
    • 1 Star: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Timburr, Dwebble, and Klink.
    • 3 Star: Herdier, Tranquill, Excadrill, and Amoonguss.
    • 5 Star: Genesect holding a Burn Drive.
    • Mega: Mega Charizard Y, Mega Blastoise, and Mega Abomasnow

Collection Challenge

Complete the Unova-themed Collection Challenge during the event by catching Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Lillipup, Herdier, Roggenrola, Solosis, Ferroseed, and Blitzle, to receive a reward of Stardust, 25 Poke Balls, and 5 Rare Candy.

In a future without energy scarcity, an ancient yet advanced Gateway has been discovered in independent space.
