CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon Masters EX: Legendary Event The Dragon That Rules the Sky Returns

As previously mentioned in the Team Message v.14 the Legendary Event The Dragon That Rules the Sky has returned to Pokémon Masters EX. This event features Zinnia & Rayquaza and will have lv. 125 unlocked. The event will run from November 1st to December 7th along with the Dazzling Dizzying Battle Stage Event.

DeNA has posted an announcement on their Twitter stating they have examined the rewards for Zinnia & Rayquaza so that everyone can enjoy the event. The following changes will be made to help maximize players enjoyment.

  • On 11/11 the following items can be exchanged;
    • Legendary Prize Coin A ×100 → 5★ Zinnia & Rayquaza ×1 (up to 4 times)
    • Legendary Prize Coin A ×30 → Custom ★ Power-Up (Zinnia & Rayquaza) ×1 (up to 20 times)
    • If Zinnia & Rayquaza’s move level has already been increased to 5, you will receive a 3★ Power-Up when obtaining Zinnia & Rayquaza again.
  • For those who have already improved the level of Zinnia & Rayquaza, they will add the following to the exchange;
    • Custom ★ Power-Up (Zinnia & Rayquaza) ×10 → 5★ Power-Up ×1 (no limit)
    • Custom ★ Power-Up (Zinnia & Rayquaza) ×1 → 3★ Power-Up ×1 (no limit)
  • Legendary Prize Coin A ×1,000 will be sent to all players.
    • This is enough to exchange for the maximum amount of 5★ Zinnia & Rayquaza and Custom ★ Power-Ups (Zinnia & Rayquaza).


In addition to the event there is a special Spotlight Scout featuring 5★ Olivia & Lycanroc and 5★ Kukui & Lycanroc. This Scout can be performed with normal Gems or up to 3 times a day with 100 Paid Gems. Each pull Slash rewards upto 15 Custom ★ Power-Ups. Olivia's Sync Pair grid is also be expanded.
