CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon Masters EX: Battle Buffet Bash Prestige Event and Gloria & Zacian Poké Fair Scout

The previously announced Prestige Event: Battle Buffet Bash and Gloria & Zacian Poké Fair Scout are now live in Pokémon Masters EX.

Prestige Event

Collect prestige points to earn rewards such as Gems, 5★ Power-Ups, and Medals.

This even players obtain story chapters and items depending on the total amount of prestige points earned. If players surpass 100k prestige points, they will be entered into a ranking where they will compete with other players.

The ranking is divided into several grades. These grades change based on player's previous prestige rank; Grade E > Grade D > Grade C > Grade B > Grade A > Grade S.

After completing a prestige event battle, you have a chance to win a point boost. Winning a boost will provide ×3 points in the next battle. You can win up to three boosts per day.

Battle Tips

  • Deal lots of damage in a single hit
  • Minimize the damage you take
  • Complete battles without sync pairs fainting
  • Finish battles quickly

Unlike normal Spotlight Scouts that feature a sync pair that can be pulled later, Poké Fair Scouts are Fair-exclusive sync pairs that will appear for a limited time, with a possibility to appear in other Poké Fair Scouts in the future.
