Pokémon GO: Lake Guardians in 5 Star Raids


Niantic announced a Lake Legends event from November 24th to November 30th in Pokémon GO. This event will feature the Mythical Pokémon; Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf. These are regional specific and will depend on where you live.

Update 11/20/2020

Niantic has updated the timing of the Lake Legends event. The event will run from Nov. 24th, 8AM local time until Nov. 30th, 10PM local time, and Uxie, Mespirt, and Azelf will be in raids from Nov. 24th, 1PM PT until Dec. 1st, 1PM PT.

In addition during this time Goldeen (including shiny) will also be appearing more often in the wild and hatching from 5 km Eggs.

  • Uxie - Asia/Pacific
  • Mesprit - Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India
  • Azelf - The Americas and Greenland

*Remote raids won't be limited by region for this event.

Features

  • Raids: Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf
    • Other Pokémon related to lakes, knowledge, emotion, and willpower will be appearing in raids
  • Pokémon commonly found near lakes including; Psyduck, Goldeen, Magikarp, Surskit, Starly, Bidoof, and Shellos, will be attracted to Incense, hatching from Eggs, and appearing more often in the wild
  • Pokémon related to knowledge, emotion, and willpower like; Abra, Machop, and Ralts, will be attracted to Incense, hatching from Eggs, and appearing more often in the wild
  • Goldeen (including shiny) will be hatching from 5 km Eggs
  • AR Mapping tasks will offer new rewards
  • Themed Field Research will be available for the duration of the event.
  • Nidoran (male & female) will have a Limited Time Research on November 28th.
