CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon Anime: Pokémon The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle

With the release of Vivid Voltage today, the official title for the upcoming Japanese release of Pokémon The Movie Coco has been revealed as Pokémon The Movie Secrets of the Jungle in English. In the trailer we can also see they renamed Coco to Koko. The movie is slated to release in 2021.

Along with the announcement The Pokémon Company has also announced how players can obtain Zarude in Pokémon Sword and Shield. By signing up for the Trainer Club Newsletter players will receive a digital code to redeem in-game. Players will need to register before November 20th and will receive an email on December 11th.

No word on Shiny Celebi or Dada Zarude (w/ cape) or Coco (Koko) TCG card distributions, these may be released with the movie.

Original Stitch teased the Zarude and Shiny Celebi patterns yesterday and today The Pokémon Company has added a new 16 1/2" Zarude plush ($44.99 USD, $58.99 CAD) and 10" Shiny Celebi ($19.99 USD, $25.99 CAD) plush to the Pokémon Center.
