CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon Sword and Shield: Phantom Pokémon Get Challenge

Japan will be having a special campaign titled Phantom Pokémon Get Challenge. During this campaign players will have the opportunity to receive some Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.

Customers of Pokémon Center and Pokémon Stores who purchase Shing Star V products will collect points to be eligible to get Marshadow, Volcanion, Genesect, and other items like a Master Ball.

Points are earned based on the product purchased (for example Shiny Star V packs contain 1 code card worth 1 point) and can be redeemed for a Mysterious Gift. The points are progressive and players only need to earn 30 points to obtain all the gifts.

The campaign will start campaign will start on November 20th, 2020 and can be redeemed until April 30th, 2021. All rewards must be claimed in Pokémon Sword or Shield by May 31st, 2021.

These Pokémon are currently available in the Crown Tundra's Dynamax Adventures.

Unlike Zarude, these Pokémon care region locked and will come with their Japanese name. They also can't be renamed using the method outlined in my Rename Foreign Pokémon video.
