Pokémon GO: Pokémon Journeys: The Series Animation Week

Niantic has announced a new event in celebration of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. During this event, Pokémon encounters and other content with ties to the two main characters; Ash and Goh will be available in Pokémon GO. The Animation Week Event will take place from November 6th to November 12th.

Features

  • World Cap Pikachu (including shiny) will be appearing in the wild
  • November 5th to November 16th Lugia will be in five-star raids with the attack Aeroblast
  • Ivysaur, Pinsir, Snorlax, Golurk, and others will be appearing in raids
  • Bulbasaur, Exeggcute, Cubone (including shiny), Scyther, Dratini, Cyndaquil, and more will appear more in the wild 
  • Pichu, Mantyke, Riolu, and Cubone (including shiny) will be hatching from 7 km Eggs
  • Timed Research inspired by multiple episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series
  • Goh will appear in GO Snapshot along with a Syther spawn
  • Free Goh inspired avatar items will be available in the shop
