CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon GO: Grubhub Special Weekend in US

An exclusive in-game event for Pokémon GO will be available to US Players by obtaining a ticket from Grubhub. The ticket contains a code that you can redeem on the Niantic Offer Redemption site. Players will need Register and start a Grubhub+ the membership. You can join for a 14 day trial and still receive the Exclusive Ticket to it's technically free to everyone. Once registered in the players will receive the Niantic code by email starting November 4th. This offer is only available until October 28th and Tickets must be redeemed before November 8th.

Similar to the 7-Eleven Weekend in Mexico, the Grubhub Pokémon GO Special Weekend will take place on November 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Players will only be able to experience the bonuses of the event during this period of time, and only within the United States. There will also be a similar event sponsored by Verizon.

  • Timed Research will reward Incense x3, Star Piece x1, and Charizard Mega Energy x100 plus encounters with Chansey, Spoink, Mawile (including shiny), Bronzor, Gible, and Sewaddle.
  • The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense during the event: Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Pikachu, Unown G & H, Sableye, Patrat, Minccino, and Ferroseed (including shiny).
    • Incense will also last for one hour.
  • You'll receive an exclusive event medal in Pokémon GO.
