Pokémon GO: Grubhub Special Weekend in US

An exclusive in-game event for Pokémon GO will be available to US Players by obtaining a ticket from Grubhub. The ticket contains a code that you can redeem on the Niantic Offer Redemption site. Players will need Register and start a Grubhub+ the membership. You can join for a 14 day trial and still receive the Exclusive Ticket to it's technically free to everyone. Once registered in the players will receive the Niantic code by email starting November 4th. This offer is only available until October 28th and Tickets must be redeemed before November 8th.

Similar to the 7-Eleven Weekend in Mexico, the Grubhub Pokémon GO Special Weekend will take place on November 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Players will only be able to experience the bonuses of the event during this period of time, and only within the United States. There will also be a similar event sponsored by Verizon.

  • Timed Research will reward Incense x3, Star Piece x1, and Charizard Mega Energy x100 plus encounters with Chansey, Spoink, Mawile (including shiny), Bronzor, Gible, and Sewaddle.
  • The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense during the event: Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Pikachu, Unown G & H, Sableye, Patrat, Minccino, and Ferroseed (including shiny).
    • Incense will also last for one hour.
  • You'll receive an exclusive event medal in Pokémon GO.
