CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Since the footage from The Today Show hit, it appears Paramount decided not to wait to release the full teaser trailer. Here's is the one and a half minute spot in HD, with full, close looks at Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael - as well as at least the mask of Shredder.



Below is the original footage of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that hit the internet Thursday morning, after airing on The Today Show on NBC. The footage was captured by JoBlo.com and is grainy and low-quality. It is the footage Paramount debuted at CinemaCon earlier this week. The company has announced the trailer for the film will debut with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is due out August 8, 2014, just one week after Marvel Studios debuts Guardians of the Galaxy.
