Apple Orders ComiXology to Remove 56 Comics About Sex, Satan, & Gay Superheroes

It appears Apple is at it again. A few months ago they requested an issue of Saga be removed due to a single panel depicting a Gay scene now they have ordered ComiXology to remove more comics from their store. So far ComiXology has removed 56 comic books from its iOS app store this past week because according to Apple the content that didn't meet Apple’s guidelines.

More specifically, these comic books contained explicit sexual material, stories involving homosexuality, Satan, and other adult-related themes. A few of the series removed from the store include; Fantagraphic's Angry Youth Comix, Prison Pit, and Omaha the Cat Dancer, Eros' Black Kiss, Chicken Soup for Satan, Image Comics' Sex and Crawl Space: Xxxombies, Asylum Press' Satan Gone Wild, and Dynamite's The Boys vol. 5. Interestingly enough, many of the these comics can still be found within Apple’s own iBookstore.
