CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Capcom Dragon's Dogma and Adura's Wrath


The Ustream website will stream gameplay from the Japanese game maker CAPCOM's action-adventure games Dragon's Dogma and Asura's Wrath on June 11 at 9:00 p.m. in Japan (8:00 a.m. EDT). CAPCOM publicity representative Ryōsuke Hagiwara will emcee the event.
Dragon's Dogma, from producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and director Hideaki Itsuno (Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4), is set in a fantasy world where a dragon who has not been seen for a long time re-emerges. The dragon chooses the protagonist as its student, and teaches the main character various skills. The game is slated to be released on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in the beginning of 2012.
CyberConnect2 (Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series) and producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya developed Asura's Wrath. The story follows Asura, a god has been stripped of his powers, as he rescues his kidnapped daughter. Asura's Wrath does not yet have a release date.
