Open Owl Studios Announces Storyfold: Buried Truths

Image
The second game in the acclaimed Storyfold series brings players to Sun Haven for a solo narrative mystery of family, secrets, and a town that never lets go. Kelowna, British Columbia — Open Owl Studios today announced Storyfold: Buried Truths , the second title in its innovative Storyfold series of solo narrative adventure games. The highly anticipated tabletop game is officially coming to Kickstarter in November 2026 . The Mystery of Sun Haven Declan swore he'd never go back to Sun Haven. Then his father died, and the case files hidden in his desk followed him home. Some things you don't choose — you just inherit them. Teaming up with local journalist Naomi, Declan digs into his father's unfinished work, a trail of unauthorized investigations that ends with a body at the Triple J Ranch. The town he left without looking back is the one place he can't outrun. A Collaborative Design Storyfold: Buried Truths is being designed by Open Owl Stud...

Coming Soon: SDCC Stranger Things Steve with Bandanna Dorbz!

Image
Funko announced  yet another Dorbz to be released at San Diego Comic Con 2018. Steve with Bandanna #467 from Stranger Things joins the previously announced multi-packs. So far this is the only solo Dorbz but with it being Freddy Funko's Birthday and past history shows we normally get a Freddy Funko each year I'd expect an annoucement soon. We also haven't seen any Ridez so possibility there as well. Unsure where this shared exclusive will be, if I had to guess I'd say Target or Hot Topic as both have large Stranger Things sections and exclusive Dorbz in the past, in addition  FYE , Barnes and Noble , and Gamestop already have SDCC Exclusive Dorbz.

Coming Soon: SDCC Ren & Stimpy Happy Happy Joy Joy Dorbz 2-Pack

Image
It was already hinted we would be getting a Ren & Stimpy 2-Pack for SDCC  as a shared exclusive with FYE. And after the announcement of the Captain America & Red Skull 2-Pack that didn't seem as likely as Funko normally releases 1 2-Pack, 3-Pack, and 4-Pack, well turns out that's not the case this year. Today must be Dorbz day because after the Game of Thrones 3-Pack , Funko announced on their blog the Nickelodeon Ren & Stimpy Happy Happy Joy Joy 2-Pack. Unfortunately they didn't confirm if it was shared with FYE or if this would be a shared exclusive.

Coming Soon: Pan's Labyrinth Dorbz!

Image
Thanks to the good folks over at Funko Pop! News we have the first preview of the upcoming Dorbz based on the 2006 Guillermo Del Torro film Pan's Labyrinth. So far the only image is of Fauno which is #472 on the Dorbz Checklist . This leaves a gap for #471 and there are 2 Funko Pop! figures so unsure if there will be a second Dorbz of Pale Man. This appears to be a normal retail release and should be available anywhere Funko Dorbz are sold. Update: Funko officially announced these will be coming in August and it appears that Fauno is the only Dorbz, so we will need to wait and see who is #471.

Funko Shop Exclusive: Avengers: Infinity War Iron Spider with Arms

Image
The final Dorbz for the Avengers: Infinity War series Iron Spider with Legs was released today on the  Funko Shop . It is a Limited Edition with no count so unsure how many will be available. With this release the only figure still unreleased is the Walgreens Exclusive Captain America . I heard from a reliable source that Funko and Walgreens have had some distribution issues (example ECCC Deadpool Duck) and Cap along with Pooh are currently delayed. You can see the official Funko glams below. Update: After today's sales, I ran a test and any amount over 2300 that I added to the cart and it said quantity wasn't available, so I'm guessing it was limited to between 2500-3000 total as Dorbz are not as popular as Pop! Vinyl figures. Still not sure why some Limited Editions have quantities mentioned and others don't.
