Wise Wizard Games announced the launch of Wacky Wizard Games, a new brand imprint focused on family-friendly, lightweight games. Three games are planned for release in 2024 as part of this new brand imprint: Star Realms Academy, Caution Signs, and Pack the Essentials. If you are interested and attending PAX Unplugged they will have prototypes of Caution Signs and Pack the Essentials. "We are super excited to be adding this new family friendly product line to our catalog. We wanted to maintain the focus of Wise Wizard Games on strategy card and dice games with geeky themes, and have created Wacky Wizard Games as an umbrella for lightweight games with a more whimsical, cute vibe," shared Debbie Moynihan, COO of Wise Wizard Games. Dire Wolf Digital announced the next in the CLANK! series of games CLANK! Catacombs will be coming later this year. Previously codenamed CLANK! Dungeon Run before Dire Wolf and Renegade Game Studios parted ways.
Explore the haunted Catacombs in a stand-alone CLANK! deck-building adventure like you’ve never seen it before! The game is a standalone Clank! adventure, but cards from all prior expansions can be used in the game. Each game will be different and will feature dynamically generated maps that will play different each game.

From series creator Paul Dennen and the team behind the award-winning Dune: Imperium, CLANK! Catacombs brings a new twist to the hit line of CLANK! deck-building board games: rather than a single dungeon to plunder, the map in Catacombs is built as you play with a series of modular tiles that are revealed as you find your way through tangled passages in search of treasure.
Who knows what awaits in the depths below? Each play session presents a unique board that grows and changes as you explore, and fun new mechanics like Ghosts, Portals, and Wayshrines are sure to challenge even the most cunning thieves!
Everything you need to play Catacombs comes inside the box, making it the perfect entry point for new players looking to test their burglarish wiles. But for seasoned CLANK! fans, Catacombs is compatible with existing expansions for the original game, and brings a whole new way to enjoy your favorite deck-builder.
