CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Space Lion by Solis Game Studio Coming Soon to Gamefound

Solis Game Studio is releasing their newest game Space Lion on Gamefound April 19th. Space Lion is a light complexity game for 2-4 player ages 8+ with an average game length of 20 minutes per player.

"There are alien armies on all fronts! You can’t possibly win all the fights on the battlefield. Feel like you are the Commanding Officer of a HUGE battle and deploy your units strategically and carefully! Choose which battles to resolve in which order but weigh in how to may affect your units and other battles. Be the last army standing in this game about unit allocation and careful effect timing!"

In Space Lion, you assign one of your 7 cards into 3 lanes face-down. After all  players have done so, all cards flip, and players will make strategic decisions on how to use their battle effects. The army with the highest strength in a lane wins that battle and damages the enemy! The game is over when all enemy bases are destroyed by losing to many battles. Be the last army standing to win the game!

Choose between 4 different asymmetrical armies each with their own unique systems and concerns on the battlefield. Then choose a hero for your army. Each army has 7 heroes to choose from which wrap your strategy even further!

About Space Lion

There are alien armies on all fronts! Take command of one of four asymmetric armies in a huge battle and deploy your units strategically and carefully. You can't possibly win all the fights on the battlefield. Choose which battles to resolve in which order but weigh in on how it may affect your units and other battles.

In Space Lion, you are managing an army of 7 cards. Each round, you will decide where to deploy cards to battle. Use your battle effects with careful timing to win the battle in as many lanes as possible. You can't win them all! The player with the highest Strength in a lane wins, causing damage to the towers or bases of other players connected to that lane. Destroy all enemy bases to win!

Choose between 4 different asymmetrical armies each with their own unique systems and concerns on the battlefield. Then choose a hero for your army. Each army has 7 heroes to choose from which warp your strategy even further!
