Pandasaurus has announced a new 2 player set collection game District Noir is coming this summer. Preorders will start on May 19th with retail release planned for July 19th. District Noir was originally published in Japanese by Taikikennai Games in 2016 as Throne and Grail. It was then published in 2019 as Chocolate Factory by Nasza Księgarnia in Polish. The current art and theme was published last year in French by Spiral Éditions. When the time is right, gain control! At the head of the city’s largest criminal organizations, men and women fight to control territories and gain support by trying every means possible to grow their influence. Control of the District Noir, a central and highly contested area, remains the major issue that will make all the difference in dominating the city. Smash Up: Disney Edition by AEG and The Op Coming Soon

With the 10th anniversary of Smash Up happening this year the rumor mill has been running wild with possible new factions, including a possible new IP based Smash Up game was coming. On the official Alderac Smash UP Facebook group Smashposting released some leaked images, and today The Op added the official page to their website. You can checkout the rulebook for some previews of the cards coming in the set.

Smash Up: Disney follows The Op and AEG's prior collaboration Smash Up: Marvel, and will bring iconic characters from Disney's animated films to Smash Up.

In Smash Up: Disney Edition, players will choose two decks of fan-favorite Disney factions and combine their powers to take over Bases, earn the most Victory Points, and win!

Choose from Frozen, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, The Lion King, Mulan, Aladdin, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Beauty & the Beast to create the most exciting team-ups imaginable.

Smash Up: Disney is a standalone game that includes customized card dividers to help store and separate faction cards with other Smash Up decks. This version is officially-licensed by Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG) and will be released summer 2022.

About Smash Up

The "shuffle building" game Smash Up begins with a simple premise: take the 20-card decks of two factions, shuffle them into a deck of forty cards, then compete to crush more Bases than your opponents! Each faction involves a different gaming mechanism, and each combination of factions brings a different gaming experience.

During the game, base cards (each with its own difficulties and abilities) are at stake. By playing cards from your hand, you try to have the most power on the bases with your minions when the base is broken.

When a base is smashed, each player in first, second, and third place scores points.

When a player has 15 or more victory points at the end of a turn, he or she wins. If two or more players have more than 15 VP, the one with the most victory points wins."
