CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Vampire the Masquerade by World of Darkness Coming to the Teburu System


Teburu Games announced  a partnership with World of Darkness to bring its iconic properties to Teburu, beginning with... Vampire: The Masquerade - Milan Uprising.

With Teburu uniquely positioned to offer the atmospheric and interactive storytelling fans expect from a World of Darkness game, the partnership will take full advantage of everything the system brings to tabletop gaming.

Some words about this sensational announcement from Davide Garofalo, the mind behind Teburu:

Vampire: The Masquerade - Milan Uprising will feature hidden actions, interactive storytelling and secret goals inspired by Vampire's stories of personal and political horror, all made possible by the Teburu system. Vampire: The Masquerade - Milan Uprising lets players experience interactive stories in World of Darkness in a way they have never seen before.

World of Darkness is a transmedia entertainment brand encompassing a number of modern fantasy horror franchises, including Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and more. Through multimedia storytelling across video games, tabletop roleplaying games, board games, literature, comic books, and more, these franchises tell mature stories in a dark supernatural fantasy layered over our modern world. The story catalogue includes over 500 books and entertainment products reaching over 30 countries.

The Teburu system will be coming to Kickstarter later this year along with the first game The Bad Karmas and The Curse of the Zodiac.
