CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Vampire The Masquerade Rivals Blood & Alchemy by Renegade Game Studios Coming Soon

Renegade Game Studios announced the first expansion for Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals. Blood & Alchemy introduces two new clans, the Tremere and the Thin-Bloods. The Tremere are masters of Blood Sorcery, while the Thin-Bloods rely on mixing their blood with various chemicals in order drive their powers and abilities.

Blood & Alchemy will include two pre-constructed decks, one for each new clan, as well as a 30-card crypt pack full of additional deck customization options. All cards in the expansion can of course be mixed with the core set for a myriad of deck construction options! 

Pre-orders through Renegade's campaign will also include two alt-art leaders, Jacob Frost for the Thin-Bloods and Sonja Valentine for the Tremere! Retailers can also participate in this pre-order promotion by pre-ordering at a discount for their local community. Delivery is anticipated in August 2021.
