CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon TCG: Cynthia Extra Day Battle Promo Card Revealed

A new Cynthia alternate artwork of her Sun & Moon card has been revealed for Japan.

Players can obtain the Cynthia (155/S-P) promo as a participation award at Extra Battle Day tournaments that will be held starting from January 23rd at Pokémon Card Gym stores in Japan. Participants will need to purchase 6 packs to enter and only Expanded decks are allowed.

Since the card is an alternate art reprint it will only be valid in Expanded format as it has rotated out in both Japan and the US.

In addition a special playmat containing the artwork used on Kanto Friends Mini Tin by Naoki Saito, will be given away to winners of the tournament or win for winning a rock-paper-scissors challenge.

The previous Extra Battle Day promo's were Hau (394/SM-P), Acerola (395/SM-P), Guzma (396/SM-P) and Lillie (397/SM-P) all released in 2019.
