CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon GO: Holidays Event

Niantic has announced The Pokémon GO Holidays Event. The event will take place from December 22nd until December 31st and feature costumed Pokémon, a new Ice-type Pokémon, and event-exclusive Field Research, winter-themed avatar items, and bonuses.

Features

  • Pikachu, Delibird, and Cubchoo will have new holiday-themed costumes.
  • Wild Pokemon: Ice-type Pokémon including; Spheal, Snover, and more.
    • Vanillite the Fresh Snow Pokémon will be making debut.
  • 5 km Eggs: Seel, Swinub, Smoochum, Snorunt, Snover, and Vanillite
  • Raids: Alolan Sandshrew, Dewgong, Jynx (including shiny), Sneasel, Swinub, Walrein, Cubchoo, and Cryogonal
    • Mega Abomasnow will be appearing in Mega Raids and will be even more powerful during the event.
  • Event-exclusive Field Research: will reward encounters with Vanillite and Cryogonal.
  • Winter-themed avatar items: Greedent Sweater, Whimsicott Earmuffs, Winter Boots, and Winter Coat.
  • Holiday-themed stickers featuring; Alolan Vulpix, Croagunk, Whimsicott, and more.
  • Event-exclusive boxes will be available in the shop.
