Hachette Games and Gigamic announced the upcoming tile placement game Akropolis will be coming to the US on July 1st 2022. Pokémon GO and Pokémon Café Mix were recognized as some of the best games in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for The Best of 2020 Games and Apps Awards.

Pokémon GO won a Trend Award for Reinventing Play on the Apple App Store. Best Game went to Genshin Impact.

Pokémon Café Mix won Best Cute and Casual Game on Japan's Google Play Store. In the US Best Casual Games went to Disney Frozen Adventures: Customize the Kingdom, DreamWorks Trolls Pop: Bubble Shooter & Collection, EverMerge, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, and SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off.

In Japan Best Game went to Genshin Impact and User's Choice for Best Game went to Project Sekai Colorful Stage Feat. Hatsune Miku.
