In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. Pokémon TCG: New Kadabra Cards Allowed In Future Sets

Illusionist Uri Gellar gives Nintendo and The Pokémon Company permission to use the name Kadabra on Pokémon TCG cards again.

For those not aware the illusionist sued Nintendo in 2000, and also asked that Kadabra no longer be put on Pokemon cards, stating the company created the Pokémon in his likeness including his signature spoon bending and the Japanese name being similar to his, Yungeller.

For 17 years no new Kadabra cards have been printed, the last being from the 2003 Skyridge set. Abra was last printed in 2007's Mysterios Treasures along with Alakazam but did not include the Kadabra evolution. We have seen Alakazam as Star, EX, GX, and V cards which are Basic and don't require evolution.

In an email to TheGamer, Geller wrote that "Due to the tremendous volume of emails I am still getting begging me to allow Nintendo to bring back Kadabra/Yungeller, I sent [...] a letter to the chairman of Nintendo giving them permission to relaunch the Uri Geller Kadabra/Yungeller worldwide."

We will have to wait and see if this change of heart will result in The Pokémon Company printing new cards.
