CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon TCG: GX Reboot Campaign in Japan


Pokémon Japan announced that starting December 4th a GX Reboot Campaign will be held with at card shops. The last two Japanese Sun and Moon sets for the Pokémon TCG, SM12 Alter Genesis and SM12a Tag All Stars will be sold again to Japanese card shops and Pokémon Centers.

To thank customer who purchase, Pokémon is offering two different promo cards, Acreus & Dialga & Palkia Tag Team GX (166/S-P) and a Cherish Ball (167/S-P) with a special GX Reboot Campaign Holographic Logo. Something to note is that both cards have the new Sword & Shield promo numbering.

Pokémon Center Online is accepting reservations for products that include the campaign promos. You can also order them from Amazon Japan's Pokémon Center.

  • If you purchase 1 Box (30 packs) of SM12 Alter Genesis, you will be given a Promo version of Arceus & Dialga & Palkia GX (166/S-P).
  • If you purchase 1 Box (10 packs) of SM12a Tag All Stars, you will be given a Promo version of Cherish Ball (167/S-P).
