CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon Sword and Shield: Series 6 October Ranked Battle

Series 6 for October is now live. The Ranked Battle Series focuses on the Pokémon of the Galar Pokédex and includes a ban list. The ban list is of the Top 10 most used Pokémon during Series 5 July. Series 6 will take place from October 1st to October 31st.

Singles Ruleset

  • Pokémon Restrictions: Available National Pokédex (with Galar Mark or Battle Ready Mark)
  • Banned Pokémon: Venusaur, Gyarados, Porygon2,Tyranitar, Torkoal, Hippowdon, Magnezone, Togekiss, Excadrill, Whimsicott, Incineroar, Mimikyu, Rillaboom, Cinderace, Indeedee, Dragapult
  • Pokémon Limits: Team of 3 to 6 Pokémon from Level 1 to Level 100. All Pokémon are set to Level 50
  • Allowed Gigantamax: Charizard, Blastoise, Butterfree, Pikachu, Meowth, Machamp, Gengar, Kingler, Lapras, Eevee, Snorlax, Garbodor, Inteleon, Corviknight, Orbeetle, Drednaw, Coalossal, Flapple, Appletun, Sandaconda, Toxtricity, Centiskorch, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, Alcremie, Copperajah, Duraludon, Urshifu
  • Battle Time: 20 Minutes
  • Player Time: 7 Minutes
  • Team Preview: 90 Seconds
  • Turn Time: 45 Seconds
