CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Pokémon Masters EX: Legendary Arena Latios

The Legendary Arena Latios event has been brought back to Pokémon Masters EX, similar to Entei and Cobalion. The arena runs from October 29th to November 11th. The arena is split into 3 Challenges each with 3 HP bars, and by reducing each of Latios's HP bars to 0% players trainers will receive rewards.

  • HP Bar 1: Gems x50, 3★ Level-Up Manual x25, 1★ Level-Up Manual x1
  • HP Bar 2: Gems x50, Elite Four Notes x10, 1★ Level-Up Manual x1

Strategy

Latios appears alongside allies Salamence and Dragonite. They are all weak against Dragon-type attacks. Salamence and Dragonite will attack the whole allied team and raise the stats of the oppnent. Salamence and Dragonite will continue to raise Latios's stats, so focus your attacks on Salamence and Dragonite.

Don't forget that Latios will attack with powerful special moves (Drago Meteor and Surf) and physical attack moves (Earthquake and Double-Edge). All opponents use powerful attacks, so try to raise the Defense and Sp. Def for all allies.

HP Bar 1

  • The opposing Sync Pairs are weak against Dragon-type attacks
  • You can use Rozanne & Probopass's Wide Guard to nullify moves that target all allies
  • You can raise Defense and Sp. Def for all allies with, for example Roxanne & Probopass's X Defense All and Drake & Salamence's X Sp. Def All

HP Bar 2

  • Latios's Passive Skill lowers the Defense and Sp. Def of your team whenever it attacks
  • You can raise the Defense of all allies using Dawn and Torterra or Jasmnie & Steelix's X Defense All. Also, you can raise the Sp. Def of all allies using Liza & Lunatone or Misty & Starmie's X Sp. Def All

  • You can boost the Sp. Def of all allies with Cheryl & Blissey's All Out of Patience! or boost the Defense of all allies with Skyla & Swanna's Take Flight!
