Pokémon Masters EX: Champion Stadium Update October 12th

The Champion Stadium (Hard Level 1) has been updated in Pokemon Masters EX. The Elite Four have been updated to Bruno being weak to Flying-type attacks, Agatha being weak to Dark-type attacks, Lorelei being weak to Grass-type attacks, Lance being weak to Metal-type attacks and Blue is now weak to Poison-type attacks.

Beating each of the Elite Four will reward players with Tickets and Champion Spirit Tokens to increase a Sync Pair to 6★ EX. You will want to be close to if not max level (125) and use the following strategies should help players win against the Elite Four and beat the Champion Stadium.

Recommended Fighting Style

  • Try to land critical hits
  • Attack with Grass-type moves

Recommended Sync Pairs and Tactics

  1. Rose & Snivy
  2. Sygna Suit Leaf & Venusaur or Lyra & Chikorita
  3. Brendan & Treekgo

Boost Brendan & Treeko's Attack, Sp. Atk, and critical-hit rate to deal massive damage with moves such as Leaf Storm and Bullet Seed.

If Sygna Suite Leaf & Venusar are on your team, use Razor Leaf right away to leave targets badly poisoned.

Agatha Battle Hints

Recommended Fighting Style

  • Lower Agatha & Gengar's Sp. Attk
  • Prepare yourself for your opponent's stat increases

Recommended Syn Pairs and Tactics

  1. Nanu & Persian
  2. Grimsley & Liepard
  3. Karen & Houndoom

Lowering Agatha & Gengar's Sp. Atk weakens them, so use Karen & Houndoom's Snarl to great effect.

Your opponent uses tactics such as passive skills and moves to boost their stats, so use Grimsley & Liepard's Snatch to turn the tide in your favor.


Bruno Battle Hints

Recommended Fighting Style

  • Take measures to ensure your opponents don't lower your Speed
  • Attack with Flying-type moves

Recommended Sync Pairs and Tactics

  1. Skyla & Swanna
  2. Winona & Pelipper
  3. Blue & Pidgeot

Your opponent uses moves such as Bulldoze and Low Sweep to reduce your speed, so counteract them with moves such as Skyla & Swanna's Take Flight.

Boost Blue & Pidgeot's Sp. Atk and critical-hit rate in order to deal massive damage with Hurricane.

Lance Battle Hints

Recommended Fighting Style

  • Brace yourself for incoming physical attacks
  • Prepare yourself for incoming critical hits

Recommended Sync Pairs and Tactics

  1. Jasmine & Steelix
  2. Wikstrom & Aegislash
  3. Steven & Metagross or Player Character & Solgaleo

Your opponent will come at you with physical attacks, so use Jasmine & Steelix's X Defense All to boost your Defense.

Your opponent also uses Dire Hit to increase critical-hit rate, so defend with Jasmine & Steelix's Clang.

Blue Battle Hints

  • Inflict the Poison or Bad Poison status conditions on your opponent
  • Inflict Trapped on your opponent
  • Watch out for incoming special attacks

  3. Plumeria & Salazzle

Use Lucy & Seviper's Poison Fang to inflict Bad Poison on your opponents or use Wrap to trap them.

Your opponent uses plenty of special attacks, so raise your Sp. Def with Lucy and Seviper's I Dare You... and similar moves.
