CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. Image Comics Expo will kick-off San Diego Comic-Con festivities, tickets available tomorrow to fans

A limited number of complimentary tickets will be available for fans who are attending San Diego Comic-Con starting tomorrow, July 18th at 12:00 PDT at http://bit.ly/ImageExpoSDCC.

These tickets are first-come-first serve and will go quickly, so make sure to register for one before they’re gone. Further Image Expo announcements and updates can be found at imagecomics.com.


For the first time ever, Image Expo, a showcase for one of the biggest publishers in the industry, will be held in San Diego, Wednesday July 23, preceding San Diego Comic Con International. Image Expo will commence at 2 p.m. PDT at the Hilton Bayfront and will feature a slew of exciting announcements about new creator-owned projects coming from Image Comics. Members of the press and comics retailers are invited to attend with complimentary passes to the event.

Following Image Expo, fans are urged to visit the Image Comics booth, #2729, during SDCC Preview Night for exclusive Image Expo releases. Special surprise guest creators announced at Expo will also be doing signings at the booth. In addition, further details on the announcements made at Image Expo will be revealed over the course of the weekend as part of Image Comics’ panel programming.
