In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. @DCComics Announces Weekly EARTH 2 Series for October 2014

DC recently released their first set of weekly comics with Batman Eternal and of course we have Futures End coming this May, now they're bringing forth another weekly series Earth 2: World's End. You can see a preview image and list of creators assigned below.

Currently they have announced a lot of of writers working on the title including; Tom Taylor, Daniel H. Wilson, Paul Levitz, Marguerite Bennet, and Mike Jonhson. Artists assigned to the title are Eddy Barrows, Jorge Jimenez, Stephen Segovia, Paulo Siqueira, and Tyler Kirkham. The weekly series will be coming out this October.

My only question is will this series warrant DC's investment? With so many other weekly series and monthly titles out there, forking out another $2.99-$3.99 an issue gets steep. I would much rather something along the lines of their Digital First where it's 99¢. I do understand the need for a title like this as all of DC's book pertain the the main Earth and there are a lot of characters and stories to be told over on Earth 2.
