Sin City: A Dame to Kill For -- Official Trailer

It's been 9 years since the 2005 movie adaptation of Sin City hit theaters and it was promised long ago by the comic’s creator, Frank Miller, and director, Robert Rodriguez, Sin City was going to be made into an adaption of 3 great comic epics, with a bit of added material from Sin City one-shots. Finally the Dark Horse comic title by Frank Miller returns to the silver screen. You can watch the trailer and see some preview images from Entertainment Weekly below.

The second movie will be an adaptation of A Dame To Kill For (Miller’s second Sin City tale, and a prequel to the first Sin City movie) and the short story Just Another Saturday Night (which is collected in the Sin City trade paperback, Booze, Broads & Bullets). Joining these two adaptions are two original Sin City stories by Miller, The Long Bad Night and The Fat Loss. The film will be co-directed by Miller and Rodriguez. Sin City 2 hits theaters this August 22nd.
