CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. @IDWPublishing will be at Baltimore Comic-Con!


Back in July it was announced that Stan Lee would not be able to attend this years con. Well it appears the replacement was found. It was just announced that IDW Publishing will be attending the Baltimore Comi-Con. They will have 2 panels and creator signings. In attendance will be VP of Marketing Dirk Wood, Locke & Key co-creator Joe Hill, legendary creator Walter Simonson, My Little Pony's Agnes Garbowska & Sara Richard, Rocketeer's Mark Waid, Love & Capes' Thom Zahler, and more. On Sunday, September 8th from 2:00 – 3:00PM in Room 302/303, join Wood again at “IDW: The Big Panel” with legendary creator Walter Simonson and a few surprise guests to hear about some of the amazing projects coming your way from IDW! 
The IDW booth is where you’ll find a number of the sensational creators among Baltimore’s impressive guest list. Signings over the course of the weekend include Joe Hill (Locke & Key), Agnes Garbowska (My Little Pony), Sara Richard (My Little Pony), Walter Simonson (The Mighty Thor: Artist’s Edition), Mark Waid (Rocketeer: Cargo of Doom), Thom Zahler (Love & Capes), and more! Whether it’s your favorite issue of My Little Pony, Locke & Key, or Rocketeer, be sure to bring your books, or pick up a copy at the IDW booth to get signed!
