StarDriven: Gateway by Rock Manor Games Coming Soon to Gamefound

In a future without energy scarcity, an ancient yet advanced Gateway has been discovered in independent space. Rock Manor Games  is thrilled to announce that the solo, co-op, and competitive 1-4 player board game StarDriven Gateway, will be launching on Gamefound on   October 1st .  We’re commemorating the launch with an animated Saturday Morning cartoon style video to give everyone a taste of the world. - Would I pick-up the comic based on the solicit/cover alone? Are the alternate covers appealing? Does the solicit/cover portray what happens in the issue?

Art/Colors/Ink - 3/5

- Do I personally like this artist's style? Does the artist stay true to the characters appearance? Does the coloring/inking blend well with the artist? Is the coloring/inking enjoyable and easy to distinguish what's happening?

Layout/Flow - 5/5

- Does the layout of the issue make it easy to read? Does the issue have a good flow of the plot and keep me engaged? Can I easily read the issue, to include lettering?

- How well did the issue further develop the current story? How well did the issue further develop the characters? Did I enjoy reading the issue?



Verdict - 4.3

-Compared to Legion of Super-Heroes I actually enjoy this series. My only complaint about the cover is Superboy's face looks strange. I have a problem with this issue's art like the last issue is that DC keeps changing artist, inker, or colorist throughout the issue causing it to be a little distracting to the reader. Art aside I really enjoyed this story arc, and seeing the interaction of the Ravagers, N.O.W.H.E.R.E., Superboy and Legion trying to stop Lord Daggor and his minions. It's sad to see a series start really getting into it's own and a story this good get canceled. I can't wait for the final issue to see the fate of the Legionaires.
