In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. See the Review Rating Overview page for more information on how I rate each comic

Cover & Solicit 3/5

I normally like Terry Dodson's art but some reason I'm not a fan of this cover. I think it's the way he has drawn Gambit's face, both in his expression and that he looks a little chunky.

Art, Colors & Inking 4/5

The team of Al Barrionuevo, Raul Fernandez, and Rachelle Rosenberg did a great job on the art in this book. There were a couple scenes where facial expressions and Gambit's body movements seemed off but otherwise it was great.

Layout & Flow 4/5

The overall flow of the comic was pretty fluid. It wasn't hard to understand or follow.

Story 4/5

This issue concludes Gambit's involvement with Borya Cich. James Asmus has done a great job on this arc of the the series. With Gambit now trapped by Borya's and no longer of any use, it's up to Gambit to find a way to escape. Not only that he needs to convince Pete Wisdom and MI:13 that he isn't a bad guy.  Thru some quick thinking back at MI:13 he was able to send Pete a message and lead them to Cich's hideout. We get a peek at the next story arc at the end of the issue involving Joelle from the first arc. If you are not already I strongly recommend picking up this series.

Verdict 3.9
