CMON's SDCC Exclusives: A Betrayal to Loyal Fans and Backers?

In recent years, CMON has built a reputation for creating some of the most beloved board games in the industry. Titles like Zombicide , Dune , Cyberpunk 2077 , Cthulhu: Death May Die , Arcadia Quest and Marvel United have garnered a dedicated fanbase, many of whom have supported these games through Kickstarter campaigns and retail purchases. However, CMON's recent decision to make exclusive content for these games available only at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has sparked significant outrage among its loyal supporters. The Exclusivity Issue At the heart of the controversy are the exclusive expansions and content for Zombicide: White Death, Cthulhu: Death May Die, and Marvel United. These exclusives include: Zombicide: White Death TMNT Expansion: Featuring comics and Rocksteady and Bebop miniatures for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles expansion. This expansion is only available at SDCC, but was highly requested by backers during the entire campaign. Godzilla Expansion for Cthulhu: D

Iron Man 3

So I went and saw Iron Man 3 last night and was extremely pleased. Like I mentioned in my review of Iron Man 3 Prelude, you really don't need it read it to know what's happening in the movie. The only parts of the comic that are related are the 10 rings (that isn't really explained in detail), the Mandarin attempting to get War Machine's specs, and Tony's Iron Army. Overall the story was great even with the twist in the middle. I've never read Extremis story, but it seemed like that part of the movie might have been changed. They also changed War Machine into the Iron Patriot, which in the comics is Norman Osborn during Dark Reign. Then again because these are based on the Ultimate Universe vs. the Earth-616 so it could still be creative licensing with the Cinematic Universe. I probably fall into the field of simply didn't care in ComicVine's Comic Book Question of the Week Results: Iron Man 3's Twist. It really didn't make or break the movie for me. While yes I would have enjoyed seeing the movie without it, what they did with A.I.M. the Mandarin and Aldrich Killian. I also enjoyed the personalized and humanized Tony this time. The entire movie is not Iron Man vs. the bad guys, but Tony Stark vs. himself, the events from The Avengers, and the bad guys. For most of the movie you don't see him in his suit, this I find as a breath of fresh air. What makes this better is the impact when the Iron Man Army shows up even better. This is a must see in my eyes.

Did you see the movie? What did you think?

Catch up before you go;
