Injustice Gods Among Us: General Zod Gameplay (Conan O'Brien)

Image
We had already heard rumors that General Zod would be joining Injustice Gods Among Us . The release was stated to coincide with the new Superman: Man of Steel Movie . Well it turns out that rumor is now confirmed as a small trailer was released on Conan O'Brien's shows yesterday. After the release of the Scorpion it was confirmed by the developers that additional characters would be released after the 4 already confirmed for the Season Pass. If you have the game then you also know there is space on the screen for 4 additional characters. Does this mean a second Season Pass? Lets hope so. The next rumored DLC is for Martian Manhunter who made a special appearance at the end of Scorpion's Trailer . Who else is on the block is unsure but lets hope it's not another member of the Bat family. General Zod will be downloadable this July, and of course Season Pass holders will have access first.

Mortal Kombat's Scorpion added to Injustice

Image
The next addition to Injustice Gods Among Us is Mortal Kombat's Scorpion. While not a DC character Jim Lee did redesign the characters look to integrate seamlessly into the Injustice Universe. I'm up in the air about this. I have always like Scorpion as a character and never played MK9 so this gives me the ability to play him again, but like so many others I would much rather have had another DC character added. If you bought the season pass you can get access to Scorpion now, if not you will have to wait to purchase him on June 11th to "Get Over Here!"

Batgirl & Killing Joke Injustice Gods Among Us DLC

Image
Netherrealm Studios has provided  MKSecrets a preview of the next DLC items, Batgirl and The Killing Joke skin pack. You can watch the trailer below. If you haven't bought the game yet you should, it's awesome. I'm not much of a fighter game guy myself, I usually play them solo. The story mode in Injustice is great and the skill level isn't that difficult as I was able to beat the Story and Ladder modes on medium difficulty. Pick the game up on Amazon now.

Nintendo  Global President  Satoru Iwata  confirmed at a question-and-answer session for analysts during last week's 2011 E3 Expo that his company's upcoming Wii U game console cannot play DVD or Blu-ray Discs. Iwata said that the increased costs that playing video DVD and Blu-ray Discs would add, due to patents, outweigh the benefits. He added that he thinks people who would need to play DVDs and Blu-ray Discs would already have players. Similarly, the current  Nintendo Wii  cannot play DVDs or Blu-ray Discs. Specifications for the console: Launches: 2012 Size: Approximately 1.8 inches tall, 6.8 inches wide and 10.5 inches long. New Controller: The new controller incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 touch screen and traditional button controls, including two analog Circle Pads. This combination removes the traditional barriers between games, players and the TV by creating a second window into the video game wo...
