Wacky Wizard Games Imprint and Three New Games Announced by @wwizardgames

Wise Wizard Games announced the launch of Wacky Wizard Games, a new brand imprint focused on family-friendly, lightweight games. Three games are planned for release in 2024 as part of this new brand imprint: Star Realms Academy, Caution Signs, and Pack the Essentials. If you are interested and attending PAX Unplugged they will have prototypes of Caution Signs and Pack the Essentials. "We are super excited to be adding this new family friendly product line to our catalog. We wanted to maintain the focus of Wise Wizard Games on strategy card and dice games with geeky themes, and have created Wacky Wizard Games as an umbrella for lightweight games with a more whimsical, cute vibe," shared Debbie Moynihan, COO of Wise Wizard Games. Star Realms Academy Forge your own star realms, overloaded with cuteness! A kid friendly but still fun for grown-ups version of the popular Star Realms deckbuilding game for 2 players. A little less math, no reading necessary, but still tons of fun!

Pokémon Sword and Shield: The Crown Tundra DLC Update Information

Explore The Crown Tundra

In The Crown Tundra you will be met by Peony who will make you the expedition chief and send you on adventures to Pokemon Dens and in search of Legendary Pokémon. Galarian Slowking will also be available as a Poison/Psychic Type with the ability Curious Medicine that removes allie stat changes.

Ability Patches are being added to the game but will be hard to obtain according to The Pokemon Company. If you use one on a Pokémon, its Ability will change to its species’ Hidden Ability, if it has one.

Catch Legendary Pokémon

Legendary Pokemon from past games are back. Not only are we getting the new Mythical Pokémon Calyrex and the Galarian versions of the Legendary Birds, but every Legendary and Mythical from past games will be added to the game. Some Pokemon will be exclusive to a game version, Sword or Shield.

Team Up for Dynamax Adventures

The Legendary Pokémon live in Pokémon Dens deep within Galar. These Dungeons will allow four Trainers to team up, explore, and battle their way to Legendary Dynamax Pokémon. Players will take 3 different Pokémon in and select one at the start of each battle. Remaining HP and PP will carry over from the previous battles.

Dynamax Adventures don't allow you to use your own Pokémon, instead each player has the choice of prebuilt rental teams.

Update 2

During today's episode of Pokénchi new information was revealed for The Crown Tundra Dynamax Adventures and Legendary Pokémon. Players will need to face off against 3 Dynamax Pokémon, and after defeating each, players have a choice on which way to go before finally getting to the final Pokémon. As previously revealed damage received from the previous stages carries over but PP and HP lost can be recovered by finding character or berries that heal. Finally players are guaranteed a capture of the Legendary Pokémon, there is a limit to one.
